Since 2009, GB has been a steadfast partner to <strong>China</strong><br />
<strong>Glass</strong> and has evolved from being just a media outlet to<br />
an integral part <strong>of</strong> the glass industry’s fabric.<br />
In the sprawling cityscape <strong>of</strong><br />
Shanghai, one <strong>of</strong> <strong>China</strong>’s major<br />
industrial and commercial centres,<br />
where towering skyscrapers reach the<br />
clouds, a significant event unfolded<br />
<strong>at</strong> the ground level in April — <strong>China</strong><br />
<strong>Glass</strong> Exhibition 2024. And nestled<br />
among the hustle and vibrancy <strong>of</strong> one<br />
<strong>of</strong> the world’s largest trade fairs <strong>at</strong> the<br />
<strong>at</strong> the Shanghai New Intern<strong>at</strong>ional<br />
Expo Centre was <strong>Glass</strong> <strong>Bulletin</strong>’s<br />
booth, marked N1-623.<br />
This was not just another year for<br />
<strong>Glass</strong> <strong>Bulletin</strong> (GB) <strong>at</strong> the expo held<br />
from April 25-28, we marked our 15th<br />
consecutive year as the exhibition’s<br />
exclusive media partner from<br />
India, a testament to our enduring<br />
commitment and impact in the glass<br />
industry.<br />
Since 2009, <strong>Glass</strong> <strong>Bulletin</strong> has<br />
been a steady presence <strong>at</strong> the <strong>China</strong><br />
<strong>Glass</strong> Exhibition, witnessing its<br />
evolution and growing alongside it.<br />
Over the years, GB has grown into<br />
more than just a media outlet; it<br />
has become an integral part <strong>of</strong> the<br />
glass industry’s fabric, chronicling<br />
innov<strong>at</strong>ions, trends and the incredible<br />
growth <strong>of</strong> the glass sector.<br />
The 2024 edition <strong>of</strong> the expo was<br />
especially significant. It boasted over<br />

900 exhibitors and stretched across<br />
seven expansive halls, each brimming<br />
with cutting-edge technology and<br />
live demonstr<strong>at</strong>ions <strong>of</strong> advanced<br />
machinery. The machines on display<br />
were not just showcases but beacons<br />
<strong>of</strong> potential, with more than 90 per<br />
cent <strong>of</strong> plant and machinery sourced<br />
from <strong>China</strong> to India, highlighting the<br />
deep industrial ties between the two<br />
n<strong>at</strong>ions.<br />
The 33rd <strong>China</strong> <strong>Glass</strong> Exhibition<br />
focussed on aligning with industry<br />
trends <strong>of</strong> green and intelligent<br />
development and divided the expo<br />
area according to themes such<br />
as glass raw m<strong>at</strong>erials, products,<br />
applic<strong>at</strong>ion technology and process<br />
equipment. By actively engaging<br />
leading manufacturers in lowcarbon<br />
technology and intelligent<br />
manufacturing, as well as providing<br />
opportunities for small and mediumsized<br />
enterprises, the exhibition<br />
aimed to bolster <strong>China</strong>’s position as a<br />
manufacturing powerhouse.<br />
GB’s presence <strong>at</strong> the expo was not<br />
just about coverage but engagement.<br />
With approxim<strong>at</strong>ely 750 deleg<strong>at</strong>es<br />
from India alone, the event was a<br />
melting pot <strong>of</strong> ideas and cultures,<br />
predominantly from the Asia-Pacific<br />
region. This was a golden opportunity<br />
for GB to strengthen rel<strong>at</strong>ionships,<br />
forge new alliances and immerse<br />
themselves in the l<strong>at</strong>est industry<br />
trends. Our booth served as a hub for<br />
knowledge exchange, where insights<br />
from our extensive <strong>Glass</strong> <strong>Bulletin</strong><br />
public<strong>at</strong>ions were shared, adding<br />
layers <strong>of</strong> depth to the convers<strong>at</strong>ions<br />
th<strong>at</strong> took place.<br />
One <strong>of</strong> the highlights <strong>of</strong> GB’s<br />
particip<strong>at</strong>ion was the organis<strong>at</strong>ion<br />
<strong>of</strong> a significant deleg<strong>at</strong>ion in<br />
<strong>Glass</strong> <strong>Bulletin</strong> | April - June, 2024<br />

collabor<strong>at</strong>ion with Red Carpet Tours<br />
from India, along with hosting the<br />
much-anticip<strong>at</strong>ed <strong>Glass</strong> Night for<br />
200 participants. These events<br />
were not just social g<strong>at</strong>herings but<br />
str<strong>at</strong>egic pl<strong>at</strong>forms for networking<br />
and celebr<strong>at</strong>ing the robust ties within<br />
the glass community.<br />
As always, GB extended its<br />
gr<strong>at</strong>itude to the organisers <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>China</strong> <strong>Glass</strong> for the opportunity to<br />
partake in such a grand event. Their<br />
involvement underscored their<br />
commitment to providing exemplary<br />
service and ensuring th<strong>at</strong> their<br />
stakeholders always had access to<br />
the l<strong>at</strong>est and most relevant industry<br />
inform<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
The <strong>China</strong> <strong>Glass</strong> Exhibition not<br />
only provided a snapshot <strong>of</strong> the<br />
current st<strong>at</strong>e <strong>of</strong> glass technology<br />
but also <strong>of</strong>fered a glimpse into the<br />
future. Spanning over 90,000 square<br />
meters, the event sought to serve as<br />
a dynamic pl<strong>at</strong>form for networking,<br />
collabor<strong>at</strong>ion and business<br />
opportunities within the global glass<br />
industry.<br />
For <strong>Glass</strong> <strong>Bulletin</strong>, it was another<br />
chapter in their ongoing mission<br />

As the exhibition wrapped up,<br />
the impact <strong>of</strong> GB’s presence was<br />
