What didn’t 3-year-old Sophiella <strong>of</strong><br />
Juno Beach do during her wondrous<br />
week at Walt Disney World ® ! She had<br />
so much fun that she couldn’t pick a<br />
favorite part. She met Mickey Mouse<br />
and the whole Disney gang, watched<br />
the parades and conquered the rides.<br />
Front-<strong>of</strong>-the-line passes to the hottest<br />
attractions helped her feel like a VIP,<br />
but that’s not all. She also participated<br />
in a show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom ®<br />
Park which brought tears to her<br />
mother’s eyes. Sophiella loved staying<br />
at Give Kids The World Village, a non-pr<strong>of</strong>it resort reserved for wish<br />
families. She rode horses, ate ice cream for breakfast and decorated her<br />
own star that was hoisted to the ceiling <strong>of</strong> the Castle <strong>of</strong> Miracles, its<br />
permanent home. Sophiella’s trip to Orlando is an experience she will<br />
never forget. Her mother called this fairy tale “a true dream come true.”<br />

On his wish day, 10-year-old Sebastian’s<br />
parents told him they were going to a<br />
<strong>Florida</strong> Marlins game. When the limo<br />
showed up, he was shocked and overjoyed<br />
that his wish to meet Hanley Ramirez<br />
would soon come true. His day unfolded<br />
in home run fashion at Land Shark<br />
Stadium. Sebastian, who is battling<br />
Hodgkin’s disease, had his own locker<br />
beside the Marlins shortstop and received<br />
an <strong>of</strong>ficial personalized big league jersey.<br />
Then it was <strong>of</strong>f to the diamond for batting<br />
practice, autographs, media interviews<br />
and the chance to throw out the first<br />
pitch. To cap <strong>of</strong>f the perfect day at the ballpark, Sebastian cheered as<br />
Hanley and all his new friends won the game.<br />
