Lot 945. Vintage Historic Hollywood Autographed Menu
From a special dinner honoring the return of Lieutenant Colonel David
Niven, here is a custom printed menu dated December 28, 1945. The
dinner was hosted by Edmund Goulding and held at Romanoff ’s in Beverly
Hills. It is autographed by attendees including: Errol Flynn, Tyrone Power,
Caesar Romero, Walter Pidgeon, David O’ Selznick, C. Aubrey Smith,
George Sanders, Donald Crisp, Frank Morgan, Wayne Morris and others.
The menu was owned by a musician in the band performing that night and
he took the menu around and collected the signatures. It has stayed in his
family’s possession until this day. Menu: 10.5” x 13.5”. ($400-$600)

A collection of historic Academy Award winning performers who won
for Best Actor and Best Actress. This is a personal collection of matched
illustrations that took over 30 years to complete. Includes Mary Pickford,
Claudette Colbert, Bette Davis (2), Ginger Rogers, James Stewart, James
Cagney, Joan Crawford, Loretta Young, Yul Brenner, Elizabeth Taylor (2),
Barbra Streisand, George C. Scott and Jack Lemmon. The signed drawing
include the year and title of film. 8” x 10” each. ($400-$600)
