Street bikes use a full DC electrical system almost exclusively. The charging system is made up of a stator,<br />

regulator/rectifier, and battery.<br />

Motorcycles with batteries must convert the AC power from the stator into DC. In order to do this, the<br />

power coming from the stator must be converted by a regulator/rectifier. The rectifier actually converts the<br />

power from AC to DC, while the regulator keeps the power level (voltage) from going above the 13.8 -14.5<br />

volts needed to power a standard 12 volt battery. It is important that the stator provides more power than<br />

needed by the motorcycle so that the battery will stay charged. If the motorcycle uses more power than<br />

the stator can provide, the battery will start to drain. This will typically happen if the voltage drops below<br />

13 volts.<br />

RECTIFIER/REGuLATOR<br />

ElectroSport regulator/rectifiers are designed to be direct replacements to original equipment by using<br />

stock mounting locations and OEM style connectors. These parts are designed to handle higher power<br />

loads than their OEM counterparts and are recommended when upgrading a stator to a high-powered<br />

alternative. Our regulator/rectifiers are a cost effective solution to a blown OEM part and are engineered<br />

to prevent these problems from arising again.<br />

pLuG-IN sTATOR<br />

As a result of extensive testing and working closely with riders all over the world, we have found the formulas<br />

that work to provide optimum power to our street bike stators. Most of our stators are designed to be direct<br />

replacements to OEM. They include a full wiring harness with OEM style connectors allowing for easy<br />

installation.<br />

We strive to build stators that last and exceed our customers' expectations. We often include upgraded features<br />

on our performance stators. Changing winding specifications, wire size, and the number of poles that the<br />

magnet wire is wrapped around are only a few of the tricks up our sleeve for bringing the most advanced<br />

power generation to motorsports. Almost all of our stators provide a substantial power gain within the engine<br />

rpm ranges that it is needed most.<br />

Our stators may look slightly different than the OEM units due to different winding configurations. Directions<br />

should be followed when installing any replacement stator. In addition, some of the testing procedures used<br />

for OEM stators may not apply to our parts due to optimized windings.<br />

3-phAsE hEAvy DuTy sTATOR<br />

This heavy duty stator can be used as a higher output replacement for the OE stator. Output is about 20% more than<br />

the OE stator provides. This new stator is built with the highest grade lamination materials and the copper windings<br />

are triple insulated for maximum reliability. To ease installation we supply it with new connectors and wire sleeving. It<br />

is a very cost-effective replacement unit for when the OE stator failed, and it comes with a full one year warranty<br />
