NGK has developed the double platinum spark plug
PTR5A-13 for FORD models powered by ZETEC engines.
The benefit of the platinum electrodes is to lower the
required ignition voltage. As a result it is possible to
increase the gap between the electrodes to improve com-
bustion and give good idle stability. Better combustion
also results in improved acceleration and lower emissions.
The V-Line No. 26
Together with FIAT, NGK has developed the spark plug
BKR6EKC. The "C” identifies it as a special spark plug for
engines from the FIAT Corporation. The BKR6EKC works
perfectly even under the most adverse conditions – from
stop, start city driving with low combustion temperatures
to maximum cylinder temperature experienced at full load.
Test results show the specially designed double ground
electrode plug guarantees superb ignition and satisfies
Fiats service life requirements.

PTR5D-10 for FORD models powered by ENDURA engines
(V-Line No. 31). The benefit of the platinum electrodes is
to lower the required ignition voltage. As a result it is
possible to increase the gap between the electrodes to
improve combustion and give good idle stability. Better
combustion also results in improved acceleration and
lower emissions.
