UNDERSTANDING, TARGETING
AND QUALITY RESPONSE
The work of the Sakma Group lighting company can be
classified according to these three premises. Since 1988
it has been working on providing the best solutions to
the needs of the market using the revolutionary technology
of LED. The advantages and peculiarities of
this technology offer the opportunity to create unique,
revolutionary solutions that bear the clear distinction
of quality. These are the result of competent and
intuitive teamwork, at the forefront of the market, able
to capture the essence of a project and bring out its
best from it. How? Following three key points:
UNDERSTANDING what’s needed, taking stock of the
requirements of each particular case and applying a
sense of precision at the moment of developing different
lighting systems. LED lighting, the benchmark when
it comes to avant-garde innovation, is the central axis
around which we create and experiment. The need to
create our own line of products that no other brand
specialising in LED has managed to develop emerged
out of the experience and professionalism of our team.
What are its unique features? Progression and evolution,
going one step forward with the leading technology,
avoiding the danger of falling victim to setbacks.
TARGETED at potential clients. Informing them of
the varying qualities in the market is fundamental to
facilitating an excellent working relationship between
both parties. Confidence and loyalty are invaluable
qualities that we attempt to nurture on a daily basis.
Hence, providing information about the origin of the
goods, their features, benefits as well as any less favourable
aspects is the best way to decide which electrical
component best fits the needs of each case. Sakma
Group helps to assess and lay out the proposal that
best suits each occasion.
RESPONDING to the demands required with practical,
high-quality solutions that are both aesthetically attractive
and functional at the same time as affordable and
sustainable. This is a basic goal of the Sakma Group
team, active and creative professionals with talent who
meet their challenges, converting dreams and desires
into matter that shines and intrigues with its own light.
LED
LIGHTING CULTURE
Light-emitting diodes, better known as LEDs, have
revolutionised the world of lighting in recent years. It
great advantages compared to other lighting systems
have contributed to its notable presence and to making
its many uses an entire field of study to be developed.
It has a useful life in stable conditions 5 times that of
fluorescent and neon lights and up to 50 times that of
incandescent lights.
With stable and unchanging levels of luminosity, LEDs
guarantee optimal visual comfort, without either dazzle
or dark areas and with a faithful perception of colour.
Its reduced size coupled with its great power makes it
a valued item for designers and industrialists alike, who
see its inexhaustible possibilities.
LED lighting, in turn, is easily adjustable, favouring the
creation of dynamic, personalised illumination in all
colours. In addition to this, as it doesn’t give off infrared
or ultraviolet, no heat is generated, thereby broadening
and increasing its range of applications.
control (between 5 and 24 V DC ).
■ Contains 4 RGB outputs or 12 mono-colour
channels.
■ Contains 4 buttons to adjust brightness and depth
of colour without requiring any external connection.
■ Also incorporates a LED monitoring indicator
and programming assistance.
■ With just one RGB controller up to 960 RGB LEDs
can be operated
■ Quick to use and mount.

FAPO / FABO
The FAPO and FABO units are 87% energy efficient,
making them one of the best performers on the market.
One of its design features is the incorporation of a
protector against short circuits and an automatic reset
to protect the entire installation.
Fabricated with a hermetically sealed aluminium body
and with polythene connection cable sleeves that
provide 30-year durability.
Suitable for indoor use or in protected areas.
FAPO
The FAPO power supply unit incorporates the same
controller as the RGB CPU but in a smaller version. A
single RGB channel or 3 mono-colour channels can
be controlled. The physical positioning of the controller
within the same box as the power supply makes it
recommended for simple, small installations.
■ Its DMX controller that includes 1(RGB) channel
allows the control of the luminosity of each
channel to be configured independently, permitting
adjustment to the desired colour.
■ It can also be connected to an external DMX mixing
desk or to link together the same lighting effects
between several power supply units.
■ FAPO power supply units are available for output
voltages (V DC ) of 12 V, 15 V and 24 V, and from 36 W
to 70 W.
■ Programmable to create settings and effects autonomously.
FABO
2012 SAKMA GENERAL CATALOGUE
The FABO power supply is specially designed to
regulate the intensity of an LED installation by means
of a dimmer. It can be mounted in series in order to link
together regulation levels between several groups of
installations.
■ This power supply unit can regulate the intensity
of light of any LED element that is connected via a
potentiometer.
■ It has a master-slave function. With only one potentiometer,
it can regulate a whole installation with
various interconnected power supplies.
■ FABO power supply units are available for output
voltages (V DC ) of 9 V, 12 V, 15 V and 24 V, and from 27
W to 70 W.
