BIRKIN SPOT<br />
An original ‘Bentley Boy’, Captain Sir Henry ‘Tim’ Birkin was regarded as one of the greatest and certainly the most famous British racing drivers of his<br />
day. His reputation for courage and daring on the track, equally matched with his dashing, playboy lifestyle.<br />
One of Birkin’s legacies to Bentley history was his trademark ‘lucky’ blue and white polka dot silk scarf. This forms the inspiration for this singular range<br />
of silk accessories, now enhanced with several new items; bow tie, cravat, silk/cashmere scarf and a tubular scarf. The silk for all these items is dyed<br />
exclusively for Bentley by Adamley. This company has been producing traditional hand-printed silks for the past 30 years from its small, Victorian mill on<br />
the banks of the river Bollin, in Cheshire, England.<br />
Only the finest 100%, foulard silk is used in the Birkin Spot range. This is treated with a special dyeing process and hand printed exclusively for Bentley.<br />
The classic Birkin Spot design exudes a timeless elegance of bygone days. It is automatically associated with the Bentley history and is instantly<br />
recognisable regardless of the style of accessory worn. The simple geometric pattern and classic colour combination complement the understated<br />
beauty of the foulard silk.<br />
