Coaches Hall of Fame<br />

The National <strong>Christian</strong> College Athletic<br />

Association has announced that Dr.<br />

Dick Damron has been voted into the<br />

NCCAA Coaches Hall of Fame. Formal<br />

induction ceremonies took place at a<br />

banquet in his honor on June 1, during<br />

the association’s annual meeting in<br />

Overland<br />

Park, Kansas.<br />

To qualify<br />

for Hall of<br />

Fame honors,<br />

a coach must<br />

have given<br />

outstanding leadership and service to<br />

the association and be nominated by<br />

a peer from another NCCAA member<br />

institution. Inductees must have had at<br />

least five years of involvement with the<br />

NCCAA, exhibit high moral character<br />

and <strong>Christian</strong> integrity, demonstrate a<br />

positive contribution of service to Christ<br />

and society, and maintain a continuing<br />

commitment to <strong>Christian</strong> higher education<br />

and intercollegiate athletics.
