Gamecube Cheat Guide
Hidden Bosses:
Hidden Bosses can be used once they have been defeated. The conditions of the Bosses to
appear are to fulfill two out of the following three conditions. If you play with a Capcom groove
you will get Ultimate Rugal, and if you play with a SNK groove you will get Shin Akuma.
Achieve over 1500 GPS by the end of the game.
Defeat the Middle Boss (Geese or Bison/Vega).
Achieve at least one Finest KO.
Custom Grooves:
The Custom Groove option appears once a normal Boss has been defeated (normal Akuma
or Rugal). Normal Bosses appear by fulfilling two of the four following conditions.
Achieve over 1000 GPS by the end of the game.
Achieve four or more special KOs.
Middle Boss has appeared.
Achieve two or more LV3 super combo KOs.
Extra options:
Clear Boss challenge mode with no continues. The "Extra Option" becomes available in the
game.
Extra color edit mode options:
Press Start while editing the colors for your character to display more options on the left side
of the screen.
Unlock Boss Mode
Beat both Ultimate Rugal and Shin Akuma to unlock Boss Mode
Access boss mode by holding X + Y and pressing Start on Arcade Mode. Make sure you do
that for both picking Arcade Mode and the type of match (Ratio, 3-on-3, or One-on-one).
Groove Edit Mode
Reach and beat either Rugal or Akuma. After you have done that (good job!) the game will tell
you that you have opened up Groove Edit mode. You can make 2 ''EX'' grooves here. You
only get 4000 points here, so budget them wisely.
Infinite Groove Points for Groove Edit Mode
Beat all 48 fighters in the regular Survival mode (NOT THE INFINITE) without continuing. If
you have gotten the Groove Edit mode, you can use as many options as you want in it.
Play As Shin Akuma
Play through arcade mode as a Capcom fighter. If you have 1000 points or more, you will
fight Shin Akuma after the final battle. Defeat him and he will be playable.
Play As Ultimate Rugal
Play through Arcade Mode as an SNK fighter. If you have 1000 points or more, you will fight
Ultimate Rugal after the final battle. Defeat him, and he will be playable.
Unlock hidden stages
Fight and defeat Akuma and Rugal in the final battle. Defeating each one will unlock a
different hidden stage. Note: It must be regualr Rugal and Akuma, not Ultimate Rugal and
Shin Akuma.
