Participating in fly-in echelon data refinement efforts when<br />

tasked by the MAGTF comm<strong>and</strong>er.<br />

Participating in MPF deployment exercises when directed.<br />

Maintaining notional distribution of the ACE’s maritime<br />

prepositioned equipment/supplies down to the unit level.<br />

Developing plans necessary to execute the flight ferry for assigned<br />

self-deploying aircraft in support of MPF operations.<br />

Survey, Liaison, <strong>and</strong> Reconnaissance Party<br />

The survey, liaison, <strong>and</strong> reconnaissance party is a task-organized<br />

team consisting of survey <strong>and</strong> reconnaissance personnel that<br />

forms the initial element of an advance party in support of a<br />

maritime prepositioning force. MACCS participation on the survey,<br />

liaison, <strong>and</strong> reconnaissance party is crucial to ensuring that<br />

proper site selection, emplacement, <strong>and</strong> <strong>Marine</strong> air comm<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

control system concerns are addressed.<br />
