Signs Three-Year Agreement
With Amerinet
DMS Health Technologies, a national
mobile diagnostic imaging service provider,
announces that it has signed a
three-year agreement with Amerinet,
a national group purchasing organization.
DMS Health Technologies will
provide Amerinet members with mobile
diagnostic imaging shared services and
interim rentals of mobile imaging products.
The three-year agreement, effective
August 1, 2009, includes MRI, CT,
PET/CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound,
cardiac/angio, bone densitometry and
digital mammography services.

Dr. O’Neale received her bachelor’s

certified public accountant for 12 years.
She earned her medical degree from
Morehouse School of Medicine here in

AHRA and Toshiba Partner

AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging
Management announces the second
year of its Putting Patients First grant program.
Putting Patients First grants will
further efforts by healthcare facilities to
improve imaging quality and safety for
patients. This year the program has been
expanded to include imaging centers and
will award three additional grants specifically
for pediatric programs. Putting Patients

NMPI Launches Fifth

hospital in Blanding, Utah, recently

Mammography Sales Put a
Dent in Hologic’s Earnings
Hologic Inc., maker of diagnostics,
medical imaging systems and surgical
products for women, announced its fiscal
third-quarter results on Monday for
the quarter ending June 27.
The company said profits fell 3
percent as cutbacks in purchases at hospitals
hurt sales of its Selenia digital
mammography systems. The company
regards its performance as “solid” in
a challenging market characterized by
reduced capital spending by health care
organizations.

MedPro Imaging Scores
87 Percent Sales Revenue
Increase in Second Quarter
MedPro Imaging, a premium provider
of new and refurbished ultrasound solutions,
reported an 87 percent increase in
sales revenues for the second quarter of
2009 compared to Q2 2008. The growth
was supported by the sale of more than 90
new and used systems to a wide variety of
clinical settings, including the Lung and
Asthma Center of Central Washington.
