Comparison of all of the 9.SS Hummels loaded on the train makes obvious that the location of the Balkenkreuzes were not exactly matched from one vehicle to another, but they were painted approximately with the horizontal midline a little above the louvers and rear to them by about 2-3 feet (my guess).
