MOLLY MCCLUSKEY (Eng. M.A. C.P.C) accepted<br />

a position with the Save the Redwoods League<br />

in San Francisco. Molly is also managing the<br />

Patricia McCluskey Scholarship at <strong>Monmouth</strong><br />

<strong>University</strong> as a memorial to her mother.<br />

AIMEE (Billington) TERRANOVA (Art) married<br />

Matthew Terranova (’99 Comm.) on March 29,<br />

2003 in Sea Bright. Aimee and Matthew work for<br />

Blue-Sky Solutions in Brick.<br />

CLASS OF 2000<br />

MARIANNE BAMBRICK (Comm.), who had<br />

worked for <strong>Monmouth</strong> Medical Center as the public<br />

relations and marketing coordinator, is now marketing<br />

coordinator with WithumSmith+Brown,<br />

CPA, one of New Jersey’s largest regional accounting<br />

and consulting firms in Red Bank.<br />

JENIFER BUNYAN (Poli. Sci.) received her law<br />

degree at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in<br />

San Diego and recently passed her bar exam.<br />

TARA (Gann) FALKIN (Bus. Mkt.) married<br />

JAMES AMICO (M.A. Physics/Comp. Sci.) is currently<br />

the vice president of the Graduate Psychology<br />

Association. He is also the co-vice president of the PSI<br />

CHI National Honor Society for Psychology Majors.<br />

ERICA BLUMETTI (Art) currently works for Art<br />

Associates as a graphic designer. She resides in<br />

Morganville.<br />

ERIC DEVINCENZO (M.A. C.P.C) is the vice president<br />

of the finance department at Continental<br />

Courier Corporation. Eric resides in Colts Neck.<br />

MELINDA DEYHLE (M.A. Physics/Comp. Sci.)<br />

resides in Sea Bright and is a counselor for the<br />

Guiding Light in Neptune.<br />

DENNIS MAZONE (M.A. Crim. J.) is a New<br />

Jersey State investigator and resides in Rutherford.<br />

KATHLEEN NAPOLITON (M.B.A) works for<br />

the Jersey Shore <strong>University</strong> Medical Center. She<br />

resides in Wall.<br />

works with clients helping them purchase season<br />

packages, corporate packages, box seats, and providing<br />

information about the Wachovia Center, which<br />

is home to the 76ers and the Flyers.<br />

LETIZIA ZINDELL (M.A. Crim. J.) works as a family<br />

services specialist for the Division of Youth and<br />

Family Services. Letizia resides in Island Heights.<br />

IN MEMORIAM<br />

DR. RICHARD PANNELL, (pictured on the<br />

far left with his MU colleagues), former<br />

<strong>Monmouth</strong> <strong>University</strong> accounting professor<br />

and the first Ph.D. hired into the department,<br />

died on September 28, 2003. Described by a<br />

past colleague as a “practical scholar”, Dr.<br />

Pannell served seven years on the faculty<br />

before retiring in 1991. Prior to teaching at<br />

<strong>Monmouth</strong>, he had a career as one of the chief<br />

researchers with the American Institute of<br />

CPAs. During his tenure there, he codified<br />

many concepts and practices for the<br />

Accounting Principles Board. A veteran of<br />

WWII under the command of General Claire<br />

Chennaut of “Flying Tigers” fame, Dr. Pannell<br />

received a commendation for establishing a<br />

crucially needed supply system for the troops<br />

in the China-Burma-India Theater (CBI).<br />

BOB HOPE HN ’65, British-born all-<br />

American comic and speaker at <strong>Monmouth</strong><br />

<strong>University</strong>’s 1965 commencement, died of<br />

pneumonia on July 27, 2003, two months<br />

after his 100th birthday.*<br />

*Bill Lauth ’65 is spearheading a scholarship fund<br />

named in honor of Bob Hope. Mr. Hope received an<br />

honorary degree from MU at the 1965 graduation<br />

exercises, at which he also gave the commencement<br />

speech. Donations may be directed to the Bob Hope<br />
