100. UNDERPANTS (Women)<br />
a. Description. White or wearer's skin tone when worn with<br />
white uniforms. Color is optional with other uniforms.<br />
b. Correct Wear. Wear right side out.<br />
c. Ownership Markings. Center in back one inch below the<br />
waistband last name and last four digits of SSN, using black ink.<br />
101. UNDERSHIRT, WHITE<br />
a. Description. Made of white cotton or poly/ cotton. May<br />
be sleeveless, V-neck, or crew neck.<br />
b. Correct Wear. Wear right side out, front of shirt to<br />
front of body. Crew neck shirts must be worn with Utility uniforms,<br />
Jumper Style uniforms, Coveralls, and with all uniforms aboard ship<br />
and in areas where an industrial fire hazard exists. Other than as<br />
required above, women may wear undershirts optionally at shore<br />
commands, except with utility and jumper style uniforms crew neck<br />
shirts are required. For shipboard restrictions, refer to .<br />
c. Ownership Markings. On outside of the front, 1 inch<br />
from the bottom of the shirt and at right of the center.<br />
102. UNDERSHORTS (Men)<br />
a. Description. White boxer shorts or knitted brief style<br />
when worn with white uniforms. Color is optional with other uniforms.<br />
b. Correct Wear. Wear right side out.<br />
c. Ownership Markings. On the outside of the right half of<br />
the waistband or immediately underneath the waistband on drawers with<br />
elastic waistbands.<br />

104. WAISTCOAT (Men Officers)<br />
a. Description. Made of white, conservatively woven pique,<br />
or other suitable material, with set-in lapel of same fabric as vest,<br />
and single-breasted with a welted pocket in each front section. Three<br />
22-1/2-line Navy eagle gilt buttons on right front. Required buttons<br />
are described in .<br />
b. Correct Wear. Button all buttons.<br />
