Upton Manor Farm Campsite is family owned and run. We aim to
provide our guests with a quiet rural retreat in which to relax and enjoy
their stay. We are in a super location surrounded by stunning countryside
with beautiful views. Within a short distance you have a choice of beaches,
country lanes and the spectacular South West Coastal Path and, of course,
we are in the beautiful English Riviera with its towns and villages.
Situated in a lovely meadow near St. Mary's Bay, Upton Manor Farm
Campsite combines the pleasure of a park in the countryside close to
the sea, with easy access to the surrounding towns and beauty spots
of Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, Dartmouth and the South Hams.
St Marys Bay a picturesque sandy beach is only two fifths of a mile away
from the campsite. It has very safe bathing and the beach is in a bay
formed by Sharkham Point and Berry Head. For those who
enjoy fishing the famous fishing spot of Sharkham Point is a short walk
from the top of the beach. However, day fishing trips are also available
from Brixham Harbour.

The Campsite grounds are well drained and its
roads recently renewed. We have three toilet
blocks and we take pride both in their cleanliness
and that of our campsite grounds. A good local bus
service runs to and from brixham during the day.

Upton Manor Farm Campsite
is just under one mile from the centre of Brixham with its quaint old fishing harbour and new fish market.
Brixham has been a fishing port for over 900 years and today life still revolves around its busy harbour. Two other coastal towns, Paignton and Torquay,
together with Brixham have become known as the English Riviera with over 22 miles of lovely unspoilt coastline.

Upton Manor Farm Campsite is an ideal base to
discover places of interest and scenic beauty for
which this area is famous. In Brixham Harbour
boats can be hired and fishing trips arranged as
well as pleasure boat trips to Dartmouth and
Torquay. Inland you will find places such as
Buckfast Abbey, Saltram House, Plymouth Hoe,
Anthony House which featured in the film Alice
in Wonderland, Exeter Cathedral, Dartington Hall
and Dartmoor National Park. There are stunning
drives from Dartmouth along the coast going
past Blackpool Sands and Slapton Beach to
Kingsbridge and Salcombe.
Many famous artists appear in the plays, musicals,
family shows and concerts that are presented in the
Princess Theatre in Torquay throughout the summer
season. The cinemas at Torquay and Paignton are
within easy reach. Paignton Zoo, The Living Coast,
Kent's Cavern, The Model Village, The Dart River
Railway, Paignton Railway and the Aquarium at
Torquay are all most enjoyable and offer a wide
variety of things to do and see.
For the more energetic there is a water park,
golf courses, a go-kart track, Cayman golf and
swimming pools, with Brixham having its own
outdoor seawater lido - one of the few remaining
in the country. If you want peace and quiet the
coastal path with its beautiful walks and remote
beaches is within walking distance of the Campsite.

Directions
As you approach Brixham you will come to a filter
light on the outskirts of the town.
1 Stay in the outside lane and bear off to the
right on to Monksbridge Road.
2 Follow the road until you come to a road
junction on a mini roundabout. Turn Left into
Greenover Road.
3 Follow this road into Burton Street
(although you will not notice the transition).
This road winds around until you reach another
set of traffic lights.
4 Turn right. (Do not go up the very steep hill
opposite.) You will pass Brixham Hospital on
your left.
5 Take the next left into Castor Road. Follow the
road up the hill.
6 You will come to a large tree in the middle of
the road. Keep left into St. Mary’s Road.
7 After 100 metres there is a very sharp left hand
bend around the corner of a building.
8 You will pass some small businesses.
Continue until you arrive at the campsite on
your left.
9 Drive in - turn left and park in the waiting area
on your right. Then call at the Farm House
directly opposite the site entrance.
