IVY GUARD Professor Sue Hart, Ivy Guard Coordinator, Professor, Department of English and Philosophy Ms. Jane Hansen and Ms. Kathy Kotecki, Assistant Coordinators he first Ivy Guard was organized at Montana State University Billings in 1963 to serve as an honor Tguard at the Awards Convocation. The tradition of Ivy Guard participation at the Commencement Convocation was initiated in 1966. Ivy Guard members are outstanding women students who have demonstrated good scholarship and service to the University through academic and extracurricular activities.
