Seneca College bookstores are located at King, Markham, Newnham
and Seneca@York campuses. As an added convenience, you can order
textbooks and supplies online through our bookstore website at

CAMPUS ShUTTlE SERVICE
The Campus Shuttle Service provides transportation for students and
employees between King, Markham, Newnham and Seneca@York
campuses on weekdays. For further information on the campus shuttle

CAREER SERVICES AT SENECA
Career Services provides a broad range of job search and employment
services and resources for Seneca students seeking full-time, part-time
or seasonal employment. To connect students with employers, Career
Services hosts career events and workshops including Job Fairs, Employer
Information Sessions and On-campus Recruitment Visits. Our career
co-ordinators offer individual advisement to students on resume & cover
letter writing, interview preparation and job search skills.

COUNSEllING AND DISABIlITY SERVICES
Seneca’s qualified, professional counsellors help students deal with
everything from career planning and educational direction to personal
counselling. All students have access to confidential consultation. If you
have a learning disability, visual, hearing, mobility, physical or psychiatric
impairment, Counselling and Disability Services has qualified counsellors,
assistive technologists, learning strategists and psychologists. For
maximum benefit, please contact this department as soon as possible.

DEGREE AND CREDIT TRANSFER OFFICE
The Degree and Credit Transfer Office at Seneca is available to assist you
with your decision to continue your education after Seneca. We will guide
you as you research your options, understand the credit transfer agreements,
verify requirements and assist you with the application process.
Seneca has a variety of transfer agreements and pathways to other postsecondary
institutions, both in Canada and abroad.

FIRST YEAR ExPERIENCE AND ORIENTATION
The first year at college can be quite challenging. At Seneca we make it
a priority to ease your transition to college life and make your first year a
success. Register for orientation online at www.senecacollege.ca/
orientation. At orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet other
students, learn some important information to help you in your first year
and interact with staff and faculty. There are numerous support services
and programs for our students that are available year-round as well.

FOOD SERVICE
Cafeterias are located at Newnham, Seneca@York, Markham and King
Campus. Meal plan memberships are available for purchase at all cafeterias.
They are accepted at all Seneca College Tim hortons, Pizza Pizza,
Pita Pit, Timothy’s and the Seneca College Residence cafeteria.

All full-time day-time domestic students, by being members of the
Seneca Student Federation Inc., are automatically enrolled in a health
Insurance Plan that includes prescription, accident, dental & extended
health insurance.

All international students have mandatory health insurance covered in
their tuition fee. Current international students who become part-time students
for academic or personal reasons, or stay in Canada during a four
month semester break, must obtain their own health insurance. Please

INTERNATIONAl STUDENTS AT SENECA
Our International Student Centre provides a wide variety of services
and programs including The homestay Program; orientations to Seneca,
Toronto and Canada; academic counselling; immigration information; peer
tutoring; special activities, trips and social events. If you are a student

International students currently studying in Canada should remember
to apply for or renew their Study Permit. You must submit a copy of this
document to the International Admissions Office.
