CAMPUS ShUTTlE SERVICE<br />
The Campus Shuttle Service provides transportation for students and<br />
employees between King, Markham, Newnham and <strong>Seneca</strong>@York<br />
campuses on weekdays. For further information on the campus shuttle<br />

CAREER SERVICES AT SENECA<br />
Career Services provides a broad range of job search and employment<br />
services and resources for <strong>Seneca</strong> students seeking full-time, part-time<br />
or seasonal employment. To connect students with employers, Career<br />
Services hosts career events and workshops including Job Fairs, Employer<br />
Information Sessions and On-campus Recruitment Visits. Our career<br />
co-ordinators offer individual advisement to students on resume & cover<br />
letter writing, interview preparation and job search skills.<br />

COUNSEllING AND DISABIlITY SERVICES<br />
<strong>Seneca</strong>’s qualified, professional counsellors help students deal with<br />
everything from career planning and educational direction to personal<br />
counselling. All students have access to confidential consultation. If you<br />
have a learning disability, visual, hearing, mobility, physical or psychiatric<br />
impairment, Counselling and Disability Services has qualified counsellors,<br />
assistive technologists, learning strategists and psychologists. For<br />

DEGREE AND CREDIT TRANSFER OFFICE<br />
The Degree and Credit Transfer Office at <strong>Seneca</strong> is available to assist you<br />
with your decision to continue your education after <strong>Seneca</strong>. We will guide<br />
you as you research your options, understand the credit transfer agreements,<br />
verify requirements and assist you with the application process.<br />

FIRST YEAR ExPERIENCE AND ORIENTATION<br />
The first year at college can be quite challenging. At <strong>Seneca</strong> we make it<br />
a priority to ease your transition to college life and make your first year a<br />

orientation. At orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet other<br />
students, learn some important information to help you in your first year<br />
and interact with staff and faculty. There are numerous support services<br />
and programs for our students that are available year-round as well.<br />

FOOD SERVICE<br />
Cafeterias are located at Newnham, <strong>Seneca</strong>@York, Markham and King<br />
Campus. Meal plan memberships are available for purchase at all cafeterias.<br />
They are accepted at all <strong>Seneca</strong> <strong>College</strong> Tim hortons, Pizza Pizza,<br />
Pita Pit, Timothy’s and the <strong>Seneca</strong> <strong>College</strong> Residence cafeteria.<br />
hEAlTh INSURANCE<br />
All full-time day-time domestic students, by being members of the<br />
<strong>Seneca</strong> Student Federation Inc., are automatically enrolled in a health<br />
Insurance Plan that includes prescription, accident, dental & extended<br />
health insurance.<br />

their tuition fee. Current international students who become part-time students<br />
for academic or personal reasons, or stay in Canada during a four<br />
