The 1999 Annual General Meeting of the Convocation was<br />
held on 20 March. Part of the programme was a visit to<br />
Lakeside, the student accommodation block, which was<br />
still under construction at the time. Delegates donned<br />
hard hats and enjoyed a guided tour of what was to<br />
become award-winning accommodation. Lakeside is situated<br />
on the edge of campus overlooking the Chancellor’s<br />
Lake and incorporates the latest innovative building<br />
