paper-light-bodies The light filters through the paper membrane unveiling a universe of different shades and complex forms. The capillarity process of the paper in combination with the lenseed oil gradually changes the appearance of the paper-light-body. They float in space – . At the same time these fragile large format objects are subject to a natural process of decomposition by their own dead weight and unperfected construction. This decaying process will slowly take place over time. They interact with slightest air movements often triggered by visitor walking by. Papier-Lichtkörper schweben im Raum, und das Licht, das sie durchscheint, enthüllt ein Universum an Formen und Farbtönen. Zugleich unterliegen diese großformatigen Gebilde wegen ihrer bewußt fragil gehaltenen Konstruktion fortwährend der Gefahr der Auflösung. Die Papier-Lichtkörper sind mit Leinöl behandelt, die Kapillarwirkung des Papiers bewirkt eine langsame Veränderung der Farbtöne und Formen auf der Oberfläche. Die Objekte sind zum Teil aus Papier unterschiedlicher Grammatur und Oberflächenbeschaffenheit gefertigt, dadurch wird das diffundierende Licht verschieden moduliert. Die Papier-Lichtkörper schweben fast unbeholfen im Raum, sie interagieren mit leichten Luftbewegungen und lassen eine stille, kontemplative Atmosphäre entstehen. details P | 12 P 12
