Built 1946 - completion 1948. The original power plant, plain 2" boiler meth. fired, with single cylinder oscillating engine. New steam plant installed in 1962, consisting of single flue cross tube boiler fired by paraffin blowlamp. The engine, twin cylinder oscillating, with cranks set at 90 degrees, is self-starting. Bore is 1/2" 15/16 stroke. In addition to driving prop. There are two feed pumps to boiler, with water tanks either side with a capacity of 1 pint each. Aft of engine is the bilge pump. The liner can cruise at 3 to 4 knots for 40 minutes on one filling. Radio control unit included. Hull is red and cream (some repainting to red parts), 'Swallow' to either side at bow. Length 49cm, width 8cm. F condition, with instructions and original 'Power Guarantee' label. In original wooden box, length 54.5cm.
