CONSULTATION & TRAINING INSTITUTE
Walk-In’s Consulta� on & Training Ins� tute, launched in 2010, evolved
from our extensive history of helping fellow professionals address
issues of professional misconduct iden� fi ed by clients, and later to
solve organiza� onal/clinical prac� ce problems common to providers.
Gary R. Schoener, M.Eq., LP, Walk-In’s Execu� ve Director from 1969 to
2010, directs the Ins� tute. He is regularly called on for his exper� se
and advice — whether it’s consul� ng with community organiza� ons
and mental health agencies, giving workshops on emerging issues, or
making presenta� ons to professional groups.
Services of the Ins� tute are defi ned and priced by project. Areas of
exper� se include:
• Assessment and coaching of impaired professionals
• Professional training
• Consulta� on to professionals and organiza� ons
• Clinical consulta� on
Income generated by the Ins� tute supports the free counseling
services provided by Walk-In Counseling Center.
