Dame Patricia Hodgson fromthelodge Changing Lives has been a success. We have taken into account many comments whilst maintaining the dynamic new format which you have enjoyed – thank you for your feedback. Since returning to Newnham one of the things that strikes me most is the strength of the ‘Newnham Community’. Whether it is our helpful Porters who are the first faces you see when you visit, or any of the rest of our excellent College Staff who ensure everything runs smoothly from application to graduation, or our alumnae who give us so much support and help, everyone has a vital part to play in ensuring Newnham’s continued well-being. This sense of joining together extends internationally. I have just returned from flying ‘around the world in fourteen days’ meeting our alumnae in Hong Kong, San Francisco and New York. You can read more on our International Outreach page. The commitment I saw everywhere reflects the loyalty and dedication back in College. One of our readers wrote: ‘What a great publication – I think you definitely create a sense of community though the human interest perspective and I love it that some entries say “get in touch”’. We intend Changing Lives to continue to reflect our strong sense of community and thank you all for the part you play in it.
