A highlight of Kennedy Center
Spencer was very appreciative of the support received
from the First Presidency, from President Holland's administration,
and most especially from the Kennedy family. His
dream came to fruition with the opening of the center. One
of his favorite quotes is from President Kimball, “The problems
of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or
cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities.
We need men who can dream of things that never were and
ask, Why Not?”
