Yamaha Race Training<br />
Race, Tune and Learn<br />
<strong>YEC</strong> customers can take advantage of Yamaha’s free annual Yamaha<br />
Race Training (YRT), which gives R-series mounted competitors the<br />
perfect opportunity to get their season off to a flying start.<br />
The 2006 event took place over three days in March, <strong>at</strong> the Ricardo<br />
Tormo circuit close to Valencia, Spain. Arranged by Yamaha Motor<br />
Europe, the event was <strong>at</strong>tended by 83 riders from 11 countries, with<br />
a similar programme being planned for the <strong>2007</strong> racing season, scheduled<br />
to take place again <strong>at</strong> the Ricardo Tormo circuit of Valencia on<br />
28, 29 and 30 March <strong>2007</strong> (d<strong>at</strong>es to be confirmed)<br />
In addition to generous amount of track time for the riders, particip<strong>at</strong>ing<br />
teams also <strong>at</strong>tend seminars where Yamaha engineers from<br />
Europe and Japan explain best practices and give race set-up advice<br />
for the R1 and R6. Those engineers are also on hand to help teams get<br />
the best out of their advice throughout the event.<br />
