CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to determine if units are repairable. Units that are badly damaged, have broken faces or
missing parts can be repaired, but at an additional charge.
The customer will be advised of any additional charges prior to repair.
If an item for repair is found to have no defects and operates within manufacturers’ specifications, a technician will
contact the customer and question the particular failure of that unit. If, at this point, the unit is determined functional,
a check-out charge will be applied.
Customers will be notified by our sales staff of units that are determined to be beyond repair. Suggestions will be
made as to direct replacement or alternative replacement of these units.
Purchase orders or verbal approval must be issued for all repair or replacement orders.
PRICING
All pricing is subject to change without notice. All prices listed within this schedule are user cost. Qualified resellers,
or wholesalers, should contact our sales office for resale discounts.
Because of items being added daily to this schedule, specific items requiring repair may not be listed in your price
list. These items can be quoted by phone, fax or by sending in for a repair quote.
RUSH FEES
A 24 - 48 hour rush service is available for a nominal fee. If the cost of repair is less than $150.00 a rush fee of
$25.00 is applied. If the cost of repair is greater than $150.00 a rush fee of $40.00 applies. These fees are per
instrument and not per order. Please notify us of your rush order in advance to avoid any delays. Please note, the
rush fees are a net charge.
REPAIR QUOTATIONS
In an effort to keep repair costs in check, all estimated items will be priced at standard prices. If at the time of
repair, any additional charges are required, you will be notified by phone or fax.
Estimates change the normal flow of repair items and therefore can take several days longer to be processed.
Items requiring estimates should be indicated on your shipping packing slip.
TERMS
Net payment in full on all invoices is due within (30) days from the date of invoice to companies with established
credit.
WARRANTY
Allied Instrument warrants all repaired articles for which we publish prices to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of shipment. Articles must be returned transportation
prepaid by customer, and if found defective at our examination, shall be warranted as above, and will be repaired
or replaced and returned free of charge.
SHIPPING DAMAGES
You will be notified immediately of any package received damaged; either by poor packing or because of
mishandling by your carrier. You will also be notified of any discrepancies. We will assist in any way we can to
correct these matters. You should notify Allied Instrument of packages received at your facility in poor condition.
Always save all packing material and cartons for insurance consideration. Allied Instrument may impose insurance
charges on highly priced packages, or on requested insured packages. All packages are not insured.
