Registered or not, the best breeders pay attention to pedigree and, with one look here,
they’ll know that this special offering has club calf blood stacked with multiple layers of the
best producers in the business. DF Business Woman 427 is creating a whole new storybook
of success on her own with some of the most decorated progeny in the country over
the past two years and much more yet to come.
A direct daughter of Went Blacks’ great 102 “Supermom” donor that was featured in our
second Frozen Gold Sale after producing the $26,000 “Superman” steer and his highselling
full brother along with a string of successful females and bulls for Ryan Went’s
program, Business Woman 427 is a leading force in the business. She continues to
produce with extreme consistency and quality like her son by
Carnac the Magnificent that was selected as the Grand
Champion Steer of the 2007 Nebraska AGR, the 2008
Aksarben, the 2008 Sneak-A-Peek Preview, and Reserve
Champion at Sioux Falls and the Missouri AGR for Amanda
Schutz, NE. All in all, that steer won 11 times and was produced
from a crop that yielded three strong-selling steers that traded at
less than two months of age.
Last spring brought another round of success for 427 and Carnac
as seven calves sold for a $4,500 average and included P.D.
Miller’s Grand Champion Prospect Heifer of the 2010 National
Western and Champion Market Heifer of the 2009 Badger
Kickoff plus her brother that was recently selected as the Fourth
Overall Steer of the Missouri AGR.
That’s 11 calves from one flush that have sold very young – most
for resale – for a $3,800 average right out of the pasture plus
2010 National Western Grand Champion Prospect Heifer
one heifer that has been retained. Don’t think she won’t do even
better with the red-hot Walks Alone!
2008 Aksarben Grand Champion Steer 2010 Missouri AGR 4th Overall Steer
When you find something that works in this business there is no reason to fix what ain’t broke. Heat Wave works
like a charm on David Jones’ great 8M donor and there is no reason to doubt her. Since her last two calves have
brought in $32,500 and won plenty, the only thing to do is make more of them. Here is your chance to get in on
David’s proven recipe and get the power of 8M working for your bottom line.
The first steer calf from Heat Wave and 8M sold to Nowatzke Show Cattle, IN, and later resold to Savannah Levisay,
CA, where he was recently selected as the Supreme Champion Steer of the Western Bonanza – one of the largest and
toughest shows on the West coast. 8M’s second attempt with Heat Wave produced the top-selling steer of the 2009
Ohio spring season that has been a 10-time winner already this season before selling to Wade Rodgers, IA. Look for
more news from him in the near future and get ready to collect when these stout, furry ones hit the ground.
Lot 34 is offered by David Jones and Family –
