Fashion Designer at the University of the Arts in Bremen. In “Pippi’s Sisters” i was inspired by a certain type of women who stongly remind me of A. Lindgren’s Pippi Longstocking. Not in their looks but in their self-determined ways, in their peculiar habits, their self-mockery attitude and in the freedom in which they live that out. I invented for my figures “practical” clothes in a Pippi Longstocking sense: An underskirt with a print based on a choreographic navigation for tango. Or long knitted gloves which can easily be turned into stockings. Jacket sleeves with more free space in the shoulders, for active women sometimes in need of climbing trees. 1 2 3 4 5 next page >>
