VERHAAL<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong> staat synoniem voor grensverleggende transporten<br />
en hijswerken. De berging van de verongelukte<br />
Russische onderzeeër Koersk laat zien dat <strong>Mammoet</strong> het<br />
onmogelijke mogelijk maakt. <strong>Mammoet</strong> werkt wereldwijd<br />
aan projecten in de petrochemie, offshore, power en<br />
civiele industrie. Wereldwijd zijn ruim 2.500 medewerkers<br />
werkzaam bij <strong>Mammoet</strong>.<br />
SAKHALIN<br />
Sakhalin is de meest extreme omgeving waar <strong>Mammoet</strong><br />
werkt. Het Russische eiland is 7 maanden per jaar onder<br />
een ijspak bedolven; - 40 graden en jaarlijks 30 blikseminslagen.<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong> werkt er 24 uur per dag.<br />

<strong>Mammoet</strong> ontwikkelde de grootse mobiele kraan ter<br />
wereld; de PTC. Alle 87 delen hebben de afmeting van<br />
een container. De PTC kan dus overal ter wereld komen<br />
waar een container kan komen. Liftcapaciteit: 2000 ton.<br />
STORY<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong> is synonymous with groundbreaking transport<br />
and lifting operations. The salvage of the wreck of the<br />
Russian nuclear sub marine Kursk demonstrates how<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong> achieves the unachievable. <strong>Mammoet</strong> carries<br />
out worldwide projects for companies in the petrochemical,<br />
offshore, power and civil-engineering sectors. All over the<br />
world more than 2,500 employees are working with<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong>.<br />
SAKHALIN<br />
Sakhalin is the most extreme environment in which<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong> operates. The Russian island is covered in<br />
pack of ice for 7 months a year; - 40 degrees and 30<br />
lightning strokes each year. <strong>Mammoet</strong> is operational 24<br />
hours per day.<br />
FACT<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong> developed the world’s largest mobile crane,<br />
the PTC. With all 87 parts the size of a container, the<br />
PTC can travel wherever containers can, all across the<br />
world. Lift capacity: 2000 tons.<br />

<strong>Mammoet</strong> is een oer-Hollands bedrijf dat al ruim 40 jaar<br />
wereldwijd aan de meest uitdagende hijs- en transportprojecten<br />
werkt. <strong>Mammoet</strong> medewerkers functioneren in de<br />
meest extreme condities: van ijzig niemandsland tot bloedhete<br />
zandvlaktes. Zij weten daarom als geen ander welke<br />
bescherming mensen nodig hebben om onder de meest<br />
barre omstandigheden te kunnen werken.<br />
Met dit idee heeft <strong>Mammoet</strong> een door en door betrouwbare<br />

transport van een gas en olieplatform van bijna 12000<br />
ton. Voortbewogen door 470 aslijnen SPMT.<br />
STORY<br />
For more than 40 years <strong>Mammoet</strong>, a traditional Dutch concern,<br />
has been carrying out the most challenging lifting and transport<br />
operations all over the world. <strong>Mammoet</strong>’s staff carry out their<br />
work in the most extreme conditions – ranging from freezing<br />
no-man’s land to sweltering sand plains. Consequently<br />
<strong>Mammoet</strong> knows better than anyone else how people need to<br />
protect themselves when they have to work in the most<br />
extreme conditions. This was also the reason why <strong>Mammoet</strong><br />
decided to develop a range of thoroughly-reliable workwear.<br />
The products in the range have been tested by our staff and<br />
awarded the approved by <strong>Mammoet</strong> Seal of Approval with<br />
respect to their quality, comfort, safety, and functionality. We<br />
