verify that seafarer was person to whom S<strong>ID</strong><br />
was originally issued<br />
• Original copy of biometric and other<br />
information on card stored in issuing country<br />
database (must be available 24/7) so suspicious<br />
S<strong>ID</strong>s can be queried
