Chicago Marathon as Bear Necessities is a marathon sponsor.
Cindy seconded. Approved unanimously. Kori suggested a
Winterize Your Car session and a “For Women Only” in
conjunction with the Concours Judges School. More
information to follow.
Goodie Store: Chuck LaMantia No report.
Chicago Scene: Susan Shire No Report. Chris Inglot reports
that there is a lack of committed newsletter editors. The Board
thanked Susan for her continuing efforts.
Property: No report.
Sponsorship / Dealer Liaison: Brian Beierwaltes reported this
year’s contributions have exceeded all previous levels and thanks
our committed sponsors for their continued support.
Historian: Dan Gallagher No report.
Webmaster: Carl Walstad No report.
Zone 13 News: Chris Inglot reported, intended to spark Parade
interest, a tour will be available of the Pheasant Run facility
September 27 th . Chris announced his second 2-year Zone Rep
term is ending at the end of 2008. Interested parties should
contact him or Jack Stephensen.
Old Business: On behalf of Tony Haggerty, Mike Freelander,
and Dave Matthews, Jack reported the Porsche Cayenne event is
on hold until 2009.
New Business: Jack reported on behalf of the Nominating
Committee that the 2009 slate is:
President: Jack Stephensen
Vice President: John Ruther
Treasurer: Neil MacDonald
Secretary: Jim Jacisin
Directors: Ed Barnicle and Steve Olson.
Returning Directors are Greg Turek, Keith Clark and Cindy
Jacisin.
