Find new and innovative tooling for helicopter rotor blades manufacturing with<br />

composite materials based on low energy and green aspects<br />

Steps that should be performed by the applicant<br />

Develop, design and manufacture of preform- and curing tools<br />

� Light and easy to handle<br />

� Easy to heat up and cool down > short cycle times<br />

� Less energy consumption / heat exchange device<br />

� Heat up range up to 135°C curing or activation temperature<br />

� Homogenous heat transfer and distribution<br />

� Stiff and closed mould for injection (up to 3bar)<br />

� Applicable to use with special impregnation technologies (e.g. LCM)<br />

� Light, one sided, fast heatable preform tools<br />
