Once again, the Villa Bella Course will be held from May 25-27, 2012 in Salò, a stunningly
beautiful town on the shores of Lake Garda, Italy. The seminar will present comprehensive
coverage of the most advanced techniques and concepts in breast cosmetic surgery. It will
focus on live surgery-there will be 12 major operations-as well as practical and didactic lectures
and video presentations. A wide range of topics will be covered that will enhance your
professional development and continuing medical education. The latest trend-setting techniques
for mastopexy, breast augmentation (with implants and fat grafting) and breast
reduction will be demonstrated in great detail. An outstanding local and international faculty
will illustrate the most up-to-date procedures and the participants will have the ability to
communicate with all the lecturers and surgeons as direct involvement will be expected and
welcome. Surgical mammary rejuvenation and remodelling (implants, fat, HA) represent the
most demanded breast operations. Attending this course will inform you on the newest and
most interesting techniques in the field. We will delve into the most advanced techniques for
breast reduction, re-suspension and augmentation with implants and fat. Various panels will
treat the recent evolution of the latter technique and the newest devices developed to perform
this operation, including fat harvesting, preparation, and fat-transfer. Special topics,
such as the treatment of double bubble and muscle contraction deformities, insufficient
tissue covering, tuberous breast, capsular contracture, asymmetries, etc. will also be
covered. Panels will discuss controversial areas and the limitations to techniques and procedures,
in addition to complications and patient safety.
Faculty members will include leading plastic surgeons, who are experts in breast cosmetic
surgery. They will present their point of view based on personal experience, and proven
strategies, rather than commercial imperatives. Focus of live surgery and presentations will
be on best surgical contouring and breast volume enhancement techniques, together with
treatment of their complications. During live surgery, you will have the opportunity to
observe and interact with the experts during 12 major operations.
