El Dorado Hills, California is nestled halfway between the San Francisco Bay Area and the scenic<br />

Lake Tahoe Basin. As a result of careful planning, wonderful views of both the Sierra Nevada<br />

biking the many country roads, w<strong>at</strong>er sports and camping <strong>at</strong> Folsom Lake as well as hiking trails<br />

around the lake. Folsom Lake has seventy-seven miles of shoreline and is one of the most heavily<br />

used recre<strong>at</strong>ional areas in the st<strong>at</strong>e. With elev<strong>at</strong>ions ranging from 200 feet to over 10,800 feet, there<br />

is tremendous diversity and much to discover throughout El Dorado County. Residents enjoy<br />

outlet shopping in nearby Folsom, taking in a movie <strong>at</strong> the new the<strong>at</strong>er complex, or a morning<br />

outing <strong>at</strong> the farmers market in <strong>The</strong> Town Center. An afternoon excursion to the many local<br />

wineries th<strong>at</strong> have become famous in the county is very popular, as well as Apple Hill, for its farms,<br />

bake shops, and breweries.<br />
