ELIUM
low vibration helium bath cryostat,
sample in exchange gas
This high stability helium bath cryostat is ideal for low-vibration optical spectroscopy
and nano-scale microscopy. It offers a low base temperature (1.6 K), low levels of
vibration and fast sample change. The sample is cooled by a dynamic exchange gas
fed from an integral liquid helium reservoir. Its small footprint is ideal in laboratory
where space is limited. It doesn’t require any external dewar or transfer tube.
Wide temperature range:
from 1.6 to 300 K
Excellent control and stability of the
sample temperature enabled using
the dynamic exchange gas principle
Low vibration design for applications
requiring high levels of mechanical
stability including Scanning Probe
Microscopy (SPM), Near-field
Scanning Optical Microscopy
(NSNOM) and Atomic Force
Microscopy (AFM). The large
sample space (49 mm) enables
the integration of probe heads
specifications
