01 Air conditioning system<br />

at <strong>the</strong> touch of a button and it will be regulated by sensor. The air<br />
conditioning system also lowers humidity, helping to prevent <strong>the</strong><br />
windows from steaming up. An integral filter keeps out pollen and<br />

01 Auxiliary heating<br />
For pre-heating and stationary heating. The auxiliary heating<br />
ensures com<strong>for</strong>table temperatures be<strong>for</strong>e you’ve even started<br />
<strong>the</strong> engine. Infinitely adjustable, with timer and with remote<br />
control as an option. Fitted by your <strong>Mercedes</strong>-Benz partner<br />
02 Remote control<br />
Makes it easy to switch <strong>the</strong> auxiliary heating on and off from<br />
a distance of up to 600 m. The heating stays on <strong>for</strong> a maximum<br />
of 60 minutes after it is switched on<br />
03 Tachograph<br />
The tachograph is mandatory under EU law <strong>for</strong> vehicles that are<br />
registered as commercial vehicles and whose gross weight exceeds<br />
3.5 t. It is also mandatory <strong>for</strong> vehicles carrying 9 passengers or<br />
more. It provides tamper-proof recording of speeds and rest times.<br />
The data is rapidly and easily acquired and can be electronically<br />
evaluated<br />

04 Cruise control<br />
Cruise control makes <strong>the</strong> driver’s job<br />
easier, especially when it comes to<br />
obeying speed limits, but also when<br />
driving long distances or towing a<br />
trailer. The selected speed is stored<br />
and maintained – although manual<br />
intervention via <strong>the</strong> brake and accelerator<br />
is, of course, possible at any time<br />

The parameterisable special module<br />
(PSM) offers an interface which allows<br />
separately installed components and<br />
systems to access <strong>the</strong> vehicle’s electronic<br />
systems. There are 10 inputs and 20<br />
outputs <strong>for</strong> retrieving in<strong>for</strong>mation. This<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation can range from e.g. light<br />
switch settings, open doors and wiper<br />
settings to seat occupancy. As soon as<br />
<strong>the</strong> relevant in<strong>for</strong>mation is defined, it is<br />
parameterised. The PSM can be accessed<br />
via <strong>the</strong> front passenger footwell<br />
