.. Pilgrim Station Nuclear Power
Plant, located on 517 acres of land
overlooking Cape Cod Bay on
Rocky Hill Road at Plymouth,
Massachusetts. is rapidly ne'lring
completion. Being built for the Bos·
ton Edison Company. this nuclear
plant will be able to produce 650,·
000 kilowallS at 345,000 volts when
put on the line in October, 1971.
The electrical construction work on
the project is bcing done by lllem·
bers of the I BEW tinder the juris·
diction o[ Local Union 223, Brock·
ton, Massachusetts. Brother Cornel·
ius Santry. Business Manager of
LU 223, has had the task of as·
signing the cketrieal construction
force manning the project and has

The prime contractor for the entirc
nuclear power plant is the Bech·
lei Corporation of San Francisco.
California. J:irncs Carsbdon is the
project superintendent, and Brother
Bill Vance, a membcr of Local
Union 716, Houston. Tcxas, is Ihe
electrical supcrintendent for Bcchtel
on the projcct. At this st:lgC of the
