6 cromnews - Autumn 04 Sheffield - 25 Years Sheffield Branch celebrated it’s 25th Anniversary in 2003, which also included presentations for 25 Years Service for Dennis Briggs (Branch Manager), Alan Read (Products Manager) and John Ketteringham. (Contracts). We celebrated with a Branch night out at an Italian Restaurant accompanied by MG who made the presentations. We have also included a very nice photo (right) of Dennis in his early days on the Branch trade counter. (Unfortunately we don’t know the date that the photograph was taken). All of us at Sheffield would like to wish a Big Happy 50th Birthday to Trevor Reeves (Contracts), who celebrated the BIG 50 in May 2004, and Alan Read (Products Manager) who celebrated his on the 24th June. Mandy Brimacombe (Slough - Area Business Representative) takes the controls of a Cathay Pacific Boeing 747-400. Slough Flying High with B.M.I. The installation of the Venda 365 machine has now been completed at the British Midland Hanger Heathrow. Our thanks go to Kevin Morby who was instrumental in the establishment of this machine. British Midland have successfully used the Venda 365 in their main operation at East Midlands Airport. At Heathrow B.M.I. are involved with the servicing of both their own aircraft and the fleet belonging to Cathay Pacific. Our Area Business Representative Mandy Brimacombe is looking very pleased (see photos above and below), as she will be responsible for the further development of this account, that’ s providing Cathay Pacific don’t offer her a job as a pilot! B.M.I have shown a big interest in the Venda 365 and are already considering a second machine to handle the special maintenance tooling used on the aircraft. Our thanks go to Dave Brooks and Mark Taylor who assisted with the installation and to the British Midland team Terry Dudley and Ray Barrett. Thank You The management would like to thank all the staff for their continued effort and in particular the tremendous achievement in March with a record sales figures and in June with Sloughs highest ever margin of 38.2%.
