1. Each vehicle manufacturer indicates a paint code on a vehicle identification plate or sticker. The location of this plate or sticker
varies by year and by manufacturer. If you have trouble locating your paint code, contact your local dealership.

On a Chrysler, the plate is on the cowl top panel on the left side under the hood (2). On an Imperial, the plate can be in one of several
places: on the left front body pillar post (6), on the left side of the firewall under the hood (1), on the left wheel housing (3), or on the
radiator yoke (4). On a Dodge, the identification plate is on the left-front-fender side shield or wheel housing (3). On a Plymouth, the
plate can be in one of several places: on the right or left side of the cowl panel (2), on either front-fender side shield (3), or on the right
side of the radiator side panel (5). See Diagram.
