EXTRA: Blackstrap is a punkish rock band from Durham, North Carolina. Formed in the wake of 9-11, at
first in the "what the fuck are we doing with our lives," since the founding members had given up
playing music for some time. That soon turned to "What the fuck is our country doing?" Their sound
often has a early-80s Slash Records sort of twang to it, and gets compared to a lot of the noisier,
aggressivly charged bands of that era.
