Dear Students, Parents and Caregivers, Welcome to Carruth House at Whangarei Boys’ High School. Hopefully you will find many answers to your questions in this Information Booklet. It is our aim to outline what you can expect from life at Carruth House and those who work with the boys. Our mission here at Carruth is simply to help these boys grow into fine young men while obtaining the knowledge they will need in order to become strong, productive members of society. We are here to help them develop academically as well as socially and physically. Our team here is committed to work in union with the school teachers to facilitate this education. We will expect the same commitment from our young men. Educating a child is a team effort and we welcome your input. The involvement of parents and caregivers is an importance piece of each boys’ overall growth. Please feel free to contact us with your input and questions.
