<strong>Read</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong>. The name says it all. Each of the books presented on the<br />
following pages was produced and published in <strong>Saskatchewan</strong>. Book publishers<br />
in <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> produce the work of writers from the province, but they also<br />
publish writers from all over Canada, and throughout the world. Academic and<br />
scholarly books are produced in the province, as well as fiction, non-fiction, poetry,<br />
youth fiction, children’s books, language resources, cookbooks, self-help titles, and<br />
nearly every other genre imaginable. With more than 50 publishers in the province,<br />
<strong>Saskatchewan</strong> sees about 100 books produced annually. We’d like to say that all of<br />
them would like to come home with you, but we know what it’s like to try to fit 100<br />
books on your shelves each year.<br />
Consider, then, ordering just a few books. Let your spirit soar with poetry, work your<br />
mind with academic titles, befriend some fiction...the books featured here are a<br />
selection of the newest and best books to have been born in <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> this year.<br />

The <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> <strong>Publishers</strong> <strong>Group</strong> is a non-profit organisation mandated to<br />
support and to promote book publishing in <strong>Saskatchewan</strong>. This collection of new<br />
and forthcoming titles highlights some of the great range and diversity of books<br />
our publishers have to offer. SPG also produces weekly reviews of our publishers’<br />
books, which can be found on our website (skbooks.com) under “reviews”. If your<br />
educational or hospitality organisation would like to receive a box of books to<br />
