Men’s Bios DAVE GARRISON Senior • 5-10 • 175 lbs • Huntington Station, N.Y./Knox School 2010-11: Took part in six meets during the outdoor season in his first year with the team … primarily ran the 200 and performed in the high jump … his best 200 time of the year came at Army (4/16), finishing 11th with a time of 25.77 … became the first Valiant to take part in the high jump at the Elmer Swanson Invitational (4/9), clearing 1.76m to take fifth place … just missed scoring at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/6), taking ninth place in the high jump with a best leap of 17.3m. CHRYS MALONE JOSH MARRERO 2008-10: Did not run track for the Valiants as a freshman or sophomore. High School: A three-year letterwinner for the Falcons … named IPPSAL All-League, was the team Most Valuable Player in junior and senior years … led team in scoring in final two seasons … also lettered in football, track & field, wrestling, cross country, soccer, and baseball … was an honor roll student. Sophomore • 5-3 • 120 lbs • Proctor, Vt./Mount St. Joseph Academy 2010-11: Ran in all six indoor meets and all eight outdoor meets in his first collegiate season … indoors, concentrated mostly on the mile … made his debut at Wesleyan (1/15), finishing the 800 in a season-best 2:27.78 and the mile in 5:29.68 … took 54th place at the USATF New England Indoor Championships (2/20) with a programrecord mile time of 5:00.17 … ran the 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 during the outdoor season … his best 5,000 time of the year came in his final try at Army (4/16), finishing in 17:28.72 … took third place in the 10,000 at Springfield (4.23), crossing the line in a season-best 25:51.78.
