Work Desc : Cond No 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 RETENDER (SOT-OT) Tender no. 72327 Proposal No 565061200100 SCOPE OF WORK TENDER NO : 72327 REPAIR OF UTILITY PIPELINE IN FOUNDRY/ESF. Cond Desc Taking delivery of material from department stores, trasportation, fabrication and erection at different height upto 18.00 meter (for relacement of old pipe) of pipe work for various services complete with all fittings, valves, bends, tee, reducers, flanges, expansion loops, drains vents, stiffeners, fixers etc. as per specification and instructions of Engineer in-charge with tools, tackles, consumables complete with testing. Painting of one coat of red oxide two coats of required paint as prescribed by VSP and colour code on the pipe is in the scope of agency. Steel pipes, paints, electrodes will be issued by VSP on free of cost. Dismantling of old pipe work shall be in the scope of agency. Safety appliances like safety shoe, safety helmets, safety belts etc. shall be provided by the agency to their workers. Agency shall encusre all the safety precaution and methods including in work at height of his workers and shall superwise the work following all statutory rules & guidelines. Daily work clearance (Permit to work at height) shall be obtained by the agency from Engineer-in-charge and SED before starting the work. The equiment like welding transformer, gas cutting torches, pulleys, ropes, slings, grinding m/c,spanners, hammers, cleaning and scraping tools etc. are in the scope of agency. Cond Desc The party should provide experienced welder. The party has to provide all PPEs to his employees. The party has to do all welding and repair works entrusted by VSP Engineer at any time during A, B, C and G shifts. Jobs are to be done anywhere in the plant at all time within a notice of 4 hours. All scrap generated must be shifted to prescsribed area and the agency shall keep the working area clean. All tools and tackles like welding m/c, gas cutting torch, welding cable,electrode holder, portable grinder are in contractors scope. All safety appliances to the safe working of workmen are to be provided by contracator. Sales Tax Clause: The scope of material and consumables supply in the present proposal are as follows: a) Material to be suuplied by VSP: Steel Pipes. b) Consumables to be supplied by VSP: Welding Electrodes, paints, gases,electricity,water, spares. c) Material to be supplied by Contractor: Nil d) Consumables to be supplied by Contractor: Nil The deduction of sale tax shall be done as per the rules prevailing from time to time. The contractor shall ensure usage of 'ISI' marked regulators, hoses, nozzles, cutting torches, welding holders and cables for the cutting and welding works. This must be adhered to strictly.
