Pink is shrill. Pink is sexy. Pink is sweet. No other color exudes such a strong aura as pink. As a
fashion color, pink is an absolute trend-setter, exuding self-confidence and strength of character.
But strong pink can also stand for love, tenderness and passion. Sometimes we see things
through “rose-tinted spectacles” and when we’re happy we’re “in the pink”. “Think pink!” stands
for pure optimism.

Sand is a light, natural and warm tone. It’s an incredibly multifaceted color, just like sand itself – a
mix of hues from creamy beige to deep yellowy gold through to pale grey. Sand is an earthy
element so it’s very subtle, restful and relaxing, giving us a sense of well-being. Walls and
accessories in sandy tones look particularly elegant against the dark flooring and can brighten
dark rooms without seeming loud.

Indian yellow is an orange-hued shade of yellow, ranging from deep golden yellow to saffron
yellow through to ochre. It’s a warm and very appealing color. It reminds us of exotic spices like
saffron and curry, distant lands and exotic cultures. Its golden hue is pleasing to the eye and
makes us feel happy and animated. The association with gold lends this color a rather exclusive
touch.

oiled/waxed finish
your Steirer Parkett® floor is treated with natural oils and waxes according to century-old
traditions to retain its original lustre. These floors are particularly beautiful with their silky matt
surface with natural texture and intensive wood color.

and colors in the Steirer Parkett® range of top quality oiled/waxed or sealed wooden flooring

a specially developed range of cleaning and care products enhances the natural hues of
my wooden floor. These nurturing products protect and preserve the beautiful sheen and
individual character of the wood. Gentle treatment essences ensure the surface remains smooth
yet hard-wearing.
To keep your Steirer Parkett® wooden flooring looking its best we recommend a constant room
temperature of 18°c to 24°c at a relative humidity of between 40 % and 60 %. This interior
climate not only helps to preserve your wooden floor but is beneficial to your health and
comfort. We recommend using a humidifier when heating is in use.
Protect your floor from scratches and other damage by:
• placing doormats in entrance areas
• removing sand and grit using a soft brush
• fitting felt gliders on moveable items of furniture.
