Following the mid-week Opening Ceremonies,<br />
the annual Pro-Am was held Wednesday evening on<br />
the practice <strong>range</strong>. Here, a NFAA Pro (male or female)<br />
is grouped with one or two randomly picked<br />
“amateurs,” forming two-person teams headed<br />
by the Pro. The targets are standard clay pigeons<br />
mounted on butts spaced from 20 through 65 yards<br />
(pigeon size increases with distance). Basically, the<br />
team that breaks the most clay pigeons in the fewest<br />
number <strong>of</strong> shots spl<strong>its</strong> the prize money. As may<br />
be seen in the accompanying Pro-Am tally (see page<br />
