PASGT helmet mich helmet THE PaSgT HELmET provides maximum Level IIIA protection with an ergonomically designed construction that allows full range of motion and improved interface with body armor. THE mIcH HELmET is considered one of the lightest ballistic helmets available on the market today; at about 2.4 lbs, it provides the utmost in protection and comfort. FEATURES AND BENEFITS SHELL: The shell is manufactured utilizing advanced hybrid Aramid construction, raising the level of protection while reducing the weight to two pounds and two ounces - for the utmost in protection and comfort. It is built with similar dimensions to the U.S. military PASGT style helmet, with an integrated visor and flared sides accepting double canister gas masks, communications, and goggles. The shell’s edge is finished with extruded neoprene rubber trim and the entire outer surface is protected with a scratch resistant flat paint. SIZE: Size Range 6 3/4” to 7 7/8”. A comfortable, four point, fully adjustable sizing system accommodates XS-XL, and is combined with a maximum perspiration absorbing liner. HARNESS SYSTEM: The PASGT helmet’s harness system has an ergonomic design, padded for shock and fully adjustable for comfort. RETENTION SYSTEM: The retention system is built of tubular poly webbing reinforced with double bar tacked stitching in critical areas, and comes with both a fully adjustable, smooth slide lock system and padded nape strap to insure a stable, secure fit. A user friendly quick release mounted on the left side of the wearer’s head will facilitate easy on, easy off use with no interference when sighting the individual’s weapon for target acquisition. The entire retention system is attached to the ballistic shell with a sturdy four-point flush bolt system. A soft comfortable chin cup is included. COMFORT FIT SYSTEM: The Comfort Fit System includes a set of fit pads that are made of a soft polypropylene outer material to facilitate wicking of the wearer’s perspiration from his or her skin and a reticulated inner foam pad which is designed to hold the moisture for evaporation which will cool the head. All Comfort Fit System Pads shall be removable and washable.
