As I roll out the proverbial welcome mat for you during this year’s annual Home<br />
Show, allow me to also bring you greetings from <strong>Kentville</strong> <strong>Town</strong> Council.<br />
The <strong>Kentville</strong> Home Show is the largest event <strong>of</strong> its kind here in the Valley, and<br />
we want to thank the many businesses who make this <strong>April</strong> weekend an annual<br />
event, and the thousands <strong>of</strong> guests, who in return, support our local products and<br />
services. The <strong>Kentville</strong> Home Show is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year<br />
and “bragging rights” for this milestone must be shared by the vendors, guests and<br />
organizers <strong>of</strong> the event. Congratulations and happy anniversary!<br />
Although it’s easy to spend an entire day at the Show lost in conversation about<br />
a project you have in mind, or by socializing with other visitors, don’t forget that<br />
when it’s time to take a break from the action, that <strong>Kentville</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers many shops and<br />
services, only steps from the Arena door. Grab a snack at one <strong>of</strong> our many c<strong>of</strong>fee<br />
shops or cafes, enjoy a meal at a local pub or bistro, or simply take a stroll along<br />
the trail system.<br />
However you decide to spend your time this weekend, I sincerely hope that you<br />
take home lots <strong>of</strong> great ideas for home improvements and lifestyle enhancements,<br />
along with the satisfaction <strong>of</strong> time well spent, and perhaps even a prize or two.<br />
