SECTION VI : SPILL OR LEAK HANDLING PROCEDURES<br />

PERSONAL<br />

PROTECTION :<br />

Wear suitable protective equipment, especially goggles. Stop source of spill. Dike spill area. Use<br />

absorbent materials to soak up fluid (i.e. sand, sawdust, and commercially available materials.)<br />

Wash spill area with large amounts of water. <strong>Pro</strong>perly dispose of all materials.<br />

PROCEDURES: CAUTION: Keep spills and cleaning runoff out of municipal sewers and open bodies of water.<br />

SECTION VII : HANDLING AND STORAGE<br />

Do not take internally. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Upon contact with skin, wash with soap and water. Flush<br />

eyes with water for 15 minutes and consult physician. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.<br />

Store away from extreme heat and open flames.<br />

"Empty" containers retain residue (liquid and/or vapor) and can be dangerous. DO NOT PRESSURIZE, CUT, WELD,<br />

BRAZE, SOLDER, DRILL, GRIND OR EXPOSE SUCH CONTAINERS TO HEAT, FLAME, SPARKS, STATIC<br />

ELECTRICITY, OR OTHER SOURCES OF IGNITION; THEY MAY EXPLODE AND CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH. Do not<br />

attempt to clean since residue is difficult to remove. "Empty" drums should be completely drained, properly bunged and<br />

promptly returned to a drum reconditioner. All other containers should be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner<br />

and inaccordance with governmental regulations. For work on tanksrefer to Occupational Safety and HealthAdministration<br />

regulations,ANSI Z49.1, and othergovernmental and industrial references pertaining to cleaning, repairing, welding, or other<br />

contemplated operations.<br />
