Energy & Environmental Science links the chemical, physical and
materials sciences relating to energy conversion and storage,
alternative fuel technologies and environmental science.
The journal recognises the complexity of issues and challenges
relating to energy and environmental science and publishes work
of an interdisciplinary nature across both physical and the (bio)
chemical sciences and chemical engineering disciplines.
Topics include: solar energy conversion and photovoltaics; fuel cells;
hydrogen storage and (bio) hydrogen production; materials for
energy systems; carbon capture and storage; catalysis for a variety
of feedstocks (e.g. oil, gas, coal, biomass and synthesis gas); biofuels
and biorefineries; global atmospheric chemistry; climate change;
artificial photosynthesis; life cycle assessment; chemicals from
carbon dioxide; energy systems and networks; and nuclear power
including fusion technologies.
Energy & Environmental Science publishes three types of Review
Articles (Reviews, Perspectives and Mini Reviews) as well as
Communications and Full Papers.
Readership: Chemical scientists, physicists, nano- and materials
researchers, chemical and process engineers, energy researchers,
bio-scientists and environmental scientists from across academia,
industry and government.
To better reflect it’s content the Journal of Environmental
Monitoring has changed its name to Environmental Science:
Processes & Impacts (ESPI).
ESPI is a unique environmental journal that provides
comprehensive coverage of environmental research across a
variety of disciplines (chemical, physical and biological). Research
published in the journal covers sampling, analysis, detection and
measurement for the elucidation of all environmental processes
and impacts resulting from both natural and anthropogenic
contaminants. The journal places special emphasis on the effects
of exposure to contaminants and assessment of the associated
risks on both environmental and human health.
ESPI is a must-have resource, publishing multidisciplinary research
in a full range of article types, including Communications. It also
publishes high-quality, focused and topical news and legislation
from around the world.
Readership: Industrial and academic scientists and professionals
involved with assessing environmental and biological impacts;
measurement and analytical scientists; legislators; government bodies;
national and international environmental agencies; health and safety
experts; toxicologists; industrial and occupational health professionals;
medical and clinical researchers; technology and instrumentation
experts.
