Goodbyes<br />
Chad Landrie has resigned effective 8/15/12 from his position as a Lecturer.<br />
Neil Miranda, a lecturer and two time Silver Circle award winner, resigned effective 8/15/12.<br />
Melita Balch, lecturer and Director <strong>of</strong> the Science Learning Center, resigned from her<br />
position at <strong>UIC</strong> in December <strong>of</strong> 2011.<br />
Jasmina Hranisavljevic, who developed and taught our Chem 314 course for over five<br />
years, departed for an industry position.<br />
Chris Sehorn resigned in January <strong>2012</strong> as Coordinator <strong>of</strong> General <strong>Chemistry</strong> Labs.<br />
Edelfonso Tan resigned from our accounting unit effective July 2010.<br />
Retired<br />
Frank Tobias retired from his position <strong>of</strong> Research Lab Shop Supervisor.<br />
Clint Briscoe retired from his position <strong>of</strong> Electronics Engineering Assistant.<br />
Stan Blaszczyk retired from his position <strong>of</strong> Research Programmer.<br />
Boon K. Teo retired as Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Inorganic <strong>Chemistry</strong>.<br />
Pat Ratajczyk, our Graduate Coordinator, retired 12/31/11.<br />
